About me
I am a studio-trained ceramicist who provides unique ceramic pieces for businesses and homes. This includes specialized coffee ware, cups, plates, bowls, plant pots and vases. I occasionally run private 1-1 wheel-throwing sessions and group clay and sip classes (BYOB).
Having grown up in Malaysia where food and beverage is a large part of our culture and identity, my work focuses on functional ceramics. I believe that functional ceramics play a large part in the culinary experience; giving the user an enhanced tactile aspect which elevates the food and drink in hand.
I occasionally provide 1-1 private wheel throwing classes. In this session you will learn the basics of wheel-throwing with stoneware; including centering, coning and pulling up walls. Session is inclusive of all firing and glazing costs for 3 pieces of work.
